A Wireless Intrusion Prevention System (WIPS) is a security solution designed to protect Wi-Fi networks from unauthorized access, malicious activities, and wireless-based cyber threats. WIPS works by continuously scanning the airspace around a wireless network. It detects suspicious signals, rogue access points, unauthorized devices, and abnormal behavior that could indicate an attack.
